This is mostly Psalm 91, but the chorus is the final verse of Psalm 90, which is often recited as an intro to 91. Here's my version: Hook [And may the pleasantness of the Lord our God be upon us, and the work of our hands establish for us, and the work of our hands establish it] Verse 1 I rest in the hiddenmost depths Where my innermost breath Is blessed from beginning to end In the shadow of the wings of eternity When I'm lost please help me to return to Thee Your force is a shield that my thoughts help to build Now I yield to Your love Behold how I'm healed Please help me to remember those lessons revealed Please help me remember those lessons revealed Under your wing You set me in your hiding place I was privileged a vision of Your shining grace Free me from the prison of time and space That I revisit with this fission of rhyme and breaks I've nothing to fear Neither by night nor day If the city that I'm living in should slide away Although I don't know how I know You'll find a way I guess I trust You That's what I'm trying to say [Hook] Verse 2 Cos I chose You as my fortress in my hour of need You set me on a pedestal surrounding me With forces Of course yes I've found the key It's called the Infinite and Nameless That's just how it be Your hands wrap under my feet Lest I should stumble So always I feel complete And whatever be the obstacle I'll be protected For acknowledging and honoring So deep connected To the pleasure of Your presence I desire to cleave Cos it's only in Your service I'm entirely free And whenever I forget it then remind me please Bring me back to the real from where I'm trying to be Til I remember to articulate with clear intention Necessitates some effort just to clear the tension Essentially you give me what is really essential So of course You'll ensure that we fulfil our potential [Hook x2] The original psalms (the final verse of 90 and then 91) are here: www.sefaria.org/Psalms.90.17?lang…with=all&lang2=en

The chorus means this: You turned my lament into a joyful dance of forgiveness You took off my sackcloth and girded me with joy So that my soul will sing praises to You, and not be silent O Lord, my God, I will thank You forever. Full lyrics: I will exalt my creator For You lifted me And you never let me fear get the best of me You raised me up From that pit of despair Now I can't recall how I got in there. In those days of sweet conceit I would never have believed that life could be so deep <y ego was blown away I was town away So open to be shown the way. You broke me down so You could build me up I had to lose it all So You could fill my cup And teach me to be myself I need to ask for help From the One who could answer well. If You hid your face I'd have nowhere else to turn And so I eventually learned Who But You Could save And who revive But the versa is also vice - If I should waste in death This sacred flesh Who Might Raise their breath To praise Your ineffable name of the nameless flame You are that remain in change. You turn my funeral dirge to a dance of forgiveness I was lost but You let me live yeh I was deep in the pit But You raised me up You turn my funeral dirge to a dance of forgiveness I was lost but You let me live yeh I was deep in the pit But You raised me up So forever and a day I will praise the One. [Verse 1] You’re my light And I know You’ll deliver me Who shall I fear when You’ve given me The strength to survive Now who's the man who can limit me? When the ignorant are rising to injure me - Confused with jealousy They would consume my flesh Imbued with enmity I watch them lose their step Victims of conditioning imprisoned in their misery Unwilling to be human And enter Your synergy - If an army should rise against me If the promises of allies were revealed as empty If my being were placed under siege Still Your sacred name would I breathe - Asking only to dwell in Your tent in humility Thanks for the gift that You’ve given we May we watch as the sweetest delivery Clears all fear Cos right here is Infinity [Hook 2] לוּלֵא הֶאֱמַנְתִּי לִרְאוֹת בְּטוּב הויה בְּאֶרֶץ חַיִּים קַוֵּה אֶל הויה חֲזַק וְיַאֲמֵץ לִבֶּךָ וְקַוֵּה אֶל הויה [Verse 2] Now my head is held high over my enemies My insecurity and my fear lay trembling I come to Your tent with an offering I will sing from my depths Giving thanks and honoring - You who my heart command me to seek In the sweetest silence There I hear You speak Even if my father and mother neglect me I know You’re always there to protect me - Show me Your ways through the ups and downs of life Help me to channel your light Please don’t let me escape myself with lies Please Don’t let me hide - If it wasn’t for my faith in Your goodness I couldn’t survive I wouldn’t be singing these lines So hope Learn to hope Whatever the price Hope must always survive [Hook 3] אִם תַּחֲנֶה עָלַי מַחֲנֶה לֹא יִירָא לִבִּי אִם תָּקוּם עָלַי מִלְחָמָה בְּזֹאת אֲנִי בוֹטֵחַ קַוֵּה אֶל הויה חֲזַק וְיַאֲמֵץ לִבֶּךָ וְקַוֵּה אֶל הויה לוּלֵא הֶאֱמַנְתִּי לִרְאוֹת בְּטוּב הויה בְּאֶרֶץ חַיִּים קַוֵּה אֶל הויה חֲזַק וְיַאֲמֵץ לִבֶּךָ וְקַוֵּה אֶל הויה [Tag] Hope Learn to hope Whatever the price Hope must always survive The original psalm is here: www.sefaria.org/Psalms.27
